Re: amplifier placement

I just put mine in behind the drivers seat on the vertical firewall. I like the setup that Miller just posted for his. I would do something like that to hide everything. Otherwise, there is precious little space to mount things in a vehicle with so much space. James PS. I'll try to post pictures lat...

Re: More Free Parts and Trivia

The side step is gone. Does anybody want these other parts (front steps and rear bumperette). If not, they go to the scrap yard.

Let me know soon, I never know when I'll get the urge to clean them out.

Re: EGR Blocking or Cleaning?

I concur with Mark, sounds like a turbo issue. Refer to this post to see if the boost adjustment arm is there and functioning:

Re: Start without clutch pressed

Another positive is you can use the starter to limp out the way if your engine craps out. I believe that for inspection purposes, certain years are supposed to have a switch to prevent starting with the clutch out. I think mine is non-functional (non-existent) currently 8-)

Re: Calgary-Vancouver-Calgary at Easter + Coquihalla bypass

Well it is high altitude relative to the rest of the road to Vancouver. I was just suggesting that there would be lots of snow off the highway so getting a quiet spot away from the road is difficult. If you wanted to take the Fraser Canyon, there is a very nice spot to stop just south of Ashcroft. Y...

Re: Calgary-Vancouver-Calgary at Easter + Coquihalla bypass

It is highly unlikely the bypass is open (high altitude), but the toll booths have been demolished so you don't need to bypass anymore.

Re: fuel emission pipes that come from air cleaner to carby

I posted a couple shots of my engine compartment and air filter area. Take a look and see where I need to get more detail for you. This is on the 4G64 in and L300 P24W, a little different than your ride, but should be similar enough except I am fuel injected. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/d...

Re: Curtain Sliders to Give Away with Skill Testing Question

Holy Cow you guys move fast, I haven't even left my office yet and we got five winners. The answers are: Largest Fly Rod - Those damn Texans built one bigger now. Largest Sawmill - It is no longer the largest in terms of capacity (A German complex wins that honour), but it is the largest sawmill in ...

Curtain Sliders to Give Away with Skill Testing Question

I have 5 batches of ten curtain sliders to give away. It is nice to have a few extras around. In order to get your package, you have to answer the following: The town of Houston, BC (where I live) is famous for having 2 of the largest things in Canada (used to be the world). If you can name the two ...
