Re: Buying a used L400

Looks a little rusty to me. Mardi at Amazing Auto has a similar one for $8600 but it has new tires and a lot of other bits and has a 1 year warranty. Plus it only has 46k on it. If yours is the one in the craigslist ad for $7800 you'd be WAY better off to give Mardi a call!

Re: LED interior lights vs. Fluorescents?

I did it. Took 15 minutes because I'm slow. There is a Brit thread with a complex way - soldering on to the circuit board etc, or a thread on here somewhere that only involves finding the wires leading to the existing flourescent and wiring your LED's into them. Easy.

Re: Help:Understanding L300 Alternator wiring (Hyundai Stare

I'm thinking what Marty meant was that if you are going to bypass him to save a few bucks elsewhere, than you can't really expect him to waste his time crawling around taking pictures for you.

Re: Sliding door won't close

Thanks so much to those that replied! My kid always says "why don't you just take it to a mechanic?", but you guys have much more Delica experience and better advice than any mechanic where I live!

Sliding door won't close

I've searched this and can find lots of help when the sliding door won't open, but mine won't close. When I slide it forward it just bangs against the "stop" and doesn't move in towards the closed position. If anyone has dealt with this, I could sure use some advice. Thanks!

Stiff Door Lock

I'm guessing I'm not the first with this problem. but can't find anything similar. When using a key to open the drivers door, it is really stiff in the lock - to the point I am afraid of breaking the key. Doubt it's the actual lock because it locks fine from inside or using the auto lock function. I...

Trip to SF

Just back from a quick trip to SF in my LWB L400. The van was flawless - steady 100-110 kmh, no signs of overheating. Lots of stares - nice van comments. I slept like a log in the back every night and drove home 17 hours straight with no fatigue. I love this van!

Why not find a LWB - lots of upside - not much downside.

Amazing Auto

Bouquet for Mardy! Bought my LWB L400 sight unseen a month ago. Probably should have done 2nd party inspection but gambled on Mardy's reputation. Been 1000 trouble free kilometers so far, and the (relatively high mileage) Spacegear has been flawless. Mardy has done everything he promised. Great van ...
