Re: New Pajero Family

Thought it was time for a new picture. Completely stock still, but have done all the work needed for now. Big bill but it runs and rides great and I feel safe letting my daughter drive it. This is a photo of it out in the neighbour's field picking up some things, that little truck sure earns his kee...

Re: meet and greet sunday 19th at Bright Angel Park

Bummer - I haven't been on here for a while and missed this - we live nearby in Glenora, that would have been great! Please try again!

turbo timer

My son insists that if you drive a turbo diesel, after driving you must let your engine idle for 30 seconds before you shut it off. Is this true? If so, is a turbo timer a good idea?

Fog light covers

Does anyone know where we can get new fog light covers? I have searched everywhere (including the archives here) and can't find any. One of ours is broken. They are the original solid plastic type, but I like the mesh style ones too. Any suggestions?

Re: passenger side mirror

When we test-drove one Paj, it had the mirror on it, and it was handy for getting a feel for how close you are to the yellow line. But I'm starting to think that once you're familiar with driving from the right and have a good feel for where the vehicle is in the lane, you don't need it anyway. You ...

New Pajero Family

After a year of searching for the perfect little 4x4, we brought home a 91 SWB Pajero the other day. Seems to be in great shape overall (had inspection done) but there is no record of the timing belt ever being done, so we are getting on that pronto. I am impressed each day when I learn something ne...

Re: Free Digital Compass

Funny, both Pajeros I've looked at so far have a broken Digital Compass/ Thermometer display. Is it common that they go?

passenger side mirror

Sorry for the noob questions, but we're looking at buying our first Pajero. We've found one we like but it's missing its small passenger side mirror that sits up at the front of the truck. What is that mirror called? Any idea what they run (if you don't find a used one)?
