L300 Workshop manuals, wiring diagrams and handbooks
Hi All, Years ago I scanned and shared the full set of English language dealer workshop manuals, wiring diagrams and various handbooks etc. They were previously on a google drive link which I posted to various Delica forums, but I've now moved them to dropbox. https://bit.ly/delicaL300 @admin - plea...

Re: Ride Height - what is yours? (L300)
All I can offer is 56cm doesn't vibrate. 57cm gives slight vibration at 20mph/30kph and 58cm is worse!
Have a search on the UK www.mdocuk.co.uk/forums as I started a similar thread there (on a mobile so difficult to find and paste links).

Re: Ride Height - what is yours? (L300)
Many thanks. These are new leaf springs with standard shackles. But they are (I think) overrated and I also don't have standard seats due to camper conversion so lighter at the back so have got about 2 inch lift. This has increased the angle for the UJ. Springs may settle over time or I need to put ...

Re: Pop top hinges - dimensions and designs
I didn't follow up on this thread - my hinges were made out of 3mm stainless steel and could hold up a small house :-) Pictures and more details on my UK thread here:- http://www.mdocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=302211#302211 https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-tAUGTu3TKPw/T2uC409HsUI/AAAAAAAAAJk/...

Ride Height - what is yours? (L300)
Hi All - apologies for cross posting from UK, but L300s are getting rare, so more opinions welcome. Just trying to work out how much lift I have got on mine with new springs - I didn't measure before, but my old springs were shot so the van is now a lot higher, but was lower than standard due to sag...

Re: Pop top hinges - dimensions and designs
Here's my estimate at the moment, based on various pictures I've found and a cardboard mock-up I've made Any comments welcome! https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-G6JJxFutHWI/Tx3c7WbPeeI/AAAAAAAAAJQ/xCaZgh6CWUI/s800/hinge.gif I'll be fabricating something like this hinge:- (picture from Lost2) http:/...

Re: LOW Iddling PROBLEM: one day in TEXAS to fix it...
A few other thoughts... other than dirty injectors / failing pump here are so things to rule out that are cheap and quick to do: I had air in fuel problems once - I fitted a length of clear fuel pipe from the filter to the pump which allows you to see if the fuel is clear or bubbly/foamy going into ...

Re: Pop top hinges - dimensions and designs
Thanks - those threads are brilliant (from what I can see on my phone!).
Will have a good read when I'm next near a big screen.
Lost2's build is almost exactly what I'm after.
Agree that high top has lots of advantages but can't go too high hence something that will fold away.
Cheers guys
Roger

Re: Pop top hinges - dimensions and designs
Thanks for the help - I'll follow up as suggested. So far in the UK I've not found anywhere that has westi hinges in stock and the only price I found for some out of stock was about $200 of your dollars... If anyone knows a westi stockist with hinges let me know please - may save the metalworking. M...

Pop top hinges - dimensions and designs
Greetings from the UK. You guys seem to have a number of threads regarding poptops and campers - been very useful reading and research - many thanks. I'm in the process of designing some hinges for a front hinged/rear lift home made poptop roof for the pig (L300, low roof, swb) It will be similar to...
