Re: Choose day for 2nd Annual Coombs Country Auto Show-and-Tell

Hey folks - if you have it Aug 1 I'll be down the road at the Coombs Bluegrass festival August long weekend - will stop by and say hi if I can get out of the jamming circles, although I'm not going to vote - most likely get caught up in the camping...we'll see.....maybe see some of you, been awhile,...

Re: I guess they don't have Drive-Thru windows over in Europe?!

some people aren't as swift as the rest of us.... *sigh* I don't like drive-through's much anyway, I tend to just go inside (even in my LHD) I DID follow through with responding that drive thru's would be on the other side - you could see her eyes register the obvious...she laughed at herself and s...

I guess they don't have Drive-Thru windows over in Europe?!

....was a comment/question made to me at the A&W Drive Thru in Victoria after she realized I had to reach over the passenger seat to pay for my food....

thought I would post it here for a chuckle

Re: Snow!!

My first time in the snow too - I was a shuttle for my choir yestereday to make it from and to practice. Nice and steady although I still had to stay far behind others - cars were slipping around everywhere. And I question why people tailgate me on unplowed slippery streets? I'm from Ontario so I kn...

Re: Remembrance Day coffee or tea, anyone?

Nice pictures - I totally gapped on the meet (sorry) - had a much needed holiday sleep-in, lit a fire, didn't drive anywhere - the leaves fallen on my parked rainsoaked Delica.....it was a mellow one

Re: Remembrance Day coffee or tea, anyone?

I went from a '90 Exceed blue over white to a '92 Super Exceed - Charcoal over grey. I was sold a rust-bucket originally that had been inspected by a safety vehicle inspector, given a 30 day warning of removal off the road if I didn't get a few crucial areas fixed. The van shouldn't have been sold t...

Re: curtains??

Try Coombs Country Auto in Coombs BC (Vancouver Island) -not sure where you are. They had some curtain sets in stock last month but they go quick...other Delica dealers/mechanics may have some extras too

I've used sarongs as a resort which work in a pinch
Have a great camping trip!

Re: Unsatisfied Delica Desire

I'd be curious BCLUV, what a Registered importer in the US says if you don't mind posting if you check. I was just down in Idaho last week and had much interest from the American folks where I was attending a gathering. One guy said he's seen a few in Bellingham, WA - but I suspect they were probabl...

Re: Pemberton Music Festival July 25-27

It was tempting when I saw the poster but have other commitments. If you haven't been yet - be sure to take a day and/or overnight to St. Agnes Wells (aka Skookumchuck) - just south of Mt Currie - 45 minute drive on the Forestry Service Road along Lake Lillooet and you will find four large hot and c...

Re: more new delis in victoria meet the BENTO BOX

Welcome! I'm not sure of your research but highly suggest you get someone to check your engine/belts/underneath/etc. I had my van inspected 4 months after purchasing from VI Imports and was served with a notice to repair the vehicle in 30 days or it was off the road. There was high corrosion underne...
