I was looking for an easy to find roof rack for the L400 with the crystal lite roof, the Thule dealer in town did not have a solution but I see that Sportrack (Canadian Tires brand) lists #A21001S for the 94 Space Wagon. Has anyone bought the Sportrack for the high roof? Does this one work?
thanks

Space Gear (L400) or Starwagon (L300). They actually called it a "Space Wagon"? Could this be for another vehicle?

Sounds like CT might be a bit space-happy.
I think Subaru used to have a model of something called the Space Wagon. Remember, CT will only sell stuff for vehicles that were sold in our market, and the Mitsubishi van was not sold here in any of its forms (as near as I can tell or remember).
Sounds like the Thule dealer wasn't getting past the steering wheel because there must be something in their lineup that could be mounted to the top of a van with no rain gutters.

Absolutely, I have been to Rack Attack and gone through all the mounting procedures and information regarding the MLB. As a matter of fact, Bandwidth ordered ladder racks to go on the gutters and they drilled holes in his roof instead (making the mount permanent and in a weaker area). I think that is a case of not "getting past the steering wheel". Mind you I just experienced a guy in his Chevy one tonne pull into my lane and play chicken with me so I must admit I am feeling a little suspicious of peoples motives lately.
