:-D :-D
It depends a little bit on how many of Christine's yummy rice crispy squares Jay had, but usually we don't hit the garage door by about 1/8 of an inch 8-)

I need to put on more weight to bring my van down (5") to reasonable garage height.

Not to be confused...

There might be a Tardis garage but that would have more to do with camping and event organization, rice krispies squares, branch trimmings down narrow and bushy trails... All great!

What you are actually referring to is "Jay's garage".
It doesn't really matter how tall or short your van has to be to make it to Jay's shop, it's more to do about how helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, resourceful and commited Jay is, that's the simple truth. For the lucky lucky ones of us who had the chance to have Jay work on our truck all the above is still an understatement. I can't count how many times Jay has helped me until the early morning hours trying to get a project finished. 4am wouldn't be unheard...

Jay and Christine are both true pillars of Delica.ca and I simply wanted to say thanks! (although Jay is a bit reluctant to work on my Safari now... :-( )

I would suggest we open a new forum called "Jay's garage" for all electricals related... Moderators?

Cheers guys!
David

Amen, can't think of anything to add to that. Luv them both.

P.S. exactly what I did when TLBF arrived home. I was too nervous and removed the safari basket. Guess I thought it was going to grow taller one night. Ha ha

Jay may not work on my gasser. Oh no! What to do without my electrical guru!

I could add that not everyone has had a choice in the matter :-D Sometimes it seems that he will work on your Deli whether you want him to or not!

I have to confess that I was nervous when he was installing my shore power socket. He pulled out a 1.5" hole saw, looks at the side, and goes, "hmm, about there ...." and proceeds to drill. Then he handed me a 1" hole saw and said "drill about here".

But it works! So I ain't complaining! Love them guys! Happy bathtubbing Winter Harp!
