Hi, new here, No Delica yet....I'm not to into the whole purchasing sight unseen thing, so an importer/dealer is the route i'm taking..I am wondering, has anyone had any dealings with Tyee Imports in Campbell river, good or bad I'd love to hear.

Im wondering the same thing. Guess i will stop by for a look and check them out if i can find the time. :)

I checked them out some time ago and wasn't impressed to say the least. Drove all the way up from Nanaimo after contacting one of sales guys/owners? No one met me, no one came out to see if they could assist, or even say hello. Two guys came out of the sales office and just strolled on by yelling to a third guy they were getting lunch. I could have set fire to the place an no one would have blinked...

Now I honestly don't like slagging anyone, but I sure as hell wasn't impressed.

I checked out Tyee a few months ago before deciding to go with Five Star in Parksville.
I got the same response. I was there 15 minutes or more poking around the vans , opening doors etc. One guy out in the yard only 20 feet away never even looked my way then jumped in a car and drove off. I went looking in the back for someone and some young guy in the back tells me that was the owner who just took off and wouldn't be back for at least an hour. The place was a mess too, half stripped vehicles and parts everywhere. I didn't go back. Who knows though, maybe if I had gone back it would have been ok, but those first impressions mean a lot.
