Hi all,

New member, new ride!!

After years of drooling every time I saw a Delica pass by me on road, I finally swallowed the red pill and put a deposit down with Amazing Mardy (I think he should officially change his company name). We took ownership last Monday and on Tuesday left for Kamloops. It was everything I expected and more! Rigs passing me, temp reading visibly moving up and down, the weirdness of looking to the left to see out my rear view mirror, the passenger always in the way when you are trying to merge. I love it!!

We have three large dogs which love the van more than we do. There is so much room for trips with them now, it is awesome.

Still have lots of mods to do and am loving the forum for great advice and topics. It's seems like a great community!

Anyway, here is Slave 1. (1994 P25W Starwagon Exceed , 59,000kms)
(Safari rack, ladder are on order. Putting in new stereo and speakers next weekend and starting to camperize it next month. Any and all suggestions/comments welcome!)

Welcome!

Are you joining the growing family of Kamloops Delicas? I see you are from Coquitlam, just up for a visit or relocating?

Nice bounty, is it a moon roof? Always thought that a pop top could be added/made to a moon roofed Delica, as an easy way to add standing headroom and roof storage access. Many years ago I enjoyed a Catalina 22 with its pop top, and had plans to copy the opening mechanism to create a pop topped P25 moon roofed Delica. Big bonus is that it would require less Delica modification than a full pop top.

Just throwing the idea out there

Not my old boat, but swear I have the same picture; just the motor and bikini are different colors. :-D
