I was supposed to be passing through on my way to Edmonton, but after white-knuckling on the skating rink from Vanderhoof to PG I decided it would be best to wait a few hours on PG and go home again. There were sections where the wind was blowing the back of the van sideways on the ice roads. Those were the worst roads I've encountered in quite some time. Thought I would swing by the U to look for Patty, and there he was in the cheap parking.
