Looks like one of my fog lights is off, I have the CIBIE E2 yellow.
Does anyone now if I have to replace the whole lens or just the light bulb?
Where can I find the bulb or replacement? Any ideas on the cost?

Should be just a H3 bulb!

I would definitively open the lamp-housing and see what's inside.... I don't think Japanese manufacturers ever used the "sealed" beam nonsense that was so popular for domestic models for decades... What a waste, throwing away the entire reflector and lens just because the lightbulb went out... Therefore, I definitively would look what kind of bulb you need exactly (as Sasquatch Hunter mentions, most likely an H3) and get a new bulb at CT, Wal Mart, Lordco or so...

I have another problem with the fog-lights: I disconnected my yellow foglights (the ones the van came with - and which worked well) and installed new high beam off road lights... although the bulbs in these suckers work fine when tested and the lights are brand-new (from Princess-Auto) they wouldn't turn on when mounted - each has a +/- wire coming out of the housing, exactly as did the old yellow ones... so it can't be a bad connection from the chassis to the light housing carrying negative....

Another weird thing is that, when I turn on the "fog-light" switch on the dash, the regular headlights come on (when I have only parking or position marker lights on, upon turning the switch on, the regular headlights come on....) Weird stuff.

I don't know what the Japanese owners did with these Vans before we got them here... but just from reading all the posts on weird electrical issues and lights not working properly etc., there must have been a good deal of "home-handycraft-wiring" going on on many of our Vans back "home" in Japan....

the japanese wiring isn't usually the problem... 99% of lighting wiring issues boil down to improperly installed or faulty DRL units.
