Pretty much totally flat - you can even fold it out flat and then tilt it up so the flat plane is perpendicular to the floor. Very good for separating the rear cargo area from the passenger's. Very cool 8-)

flat enough for putting in boards but not flat enough to call it a bed.

If you throw an air mattress on top it helps with the lumps!

We've a 13' Boler and with 5 of us, I figure I will be grabbing the space in the deli when I get it.
That's why we now have a toss up, middle bench or captain chairs. I really want the capt. chairs to seperate the kids :shock:

for sleeping it doesn't really matter captains chairs vs bench, just put a queen size air mattress on top and all the lumps/bumps/gaps magically disapear.

If only one person is sleeping in the delica, use the captains chair, sit in it as normal facing backwards and fully recline, put your feet on the rear bench (I don't even bother folding the bench flat), for more than 1 person, use an air mattress.
