Most appear to be post-1993, and some will certainly be relevant to the L400's. There are several that cover the model and year(s) that most of us seem to be driving, and one in particular that caught my eye was this one http://dogandlemon.com/site/japanese-ve ... =RJ-0648-0, which talks about the crank shaft pulley falling off if not repaired. Another http://dogandlemon.com/site/japanese-ve ... =RJ-1174-0 discusses what could happen to the fuel injector advance system if not treated with care during adjustment.

funny you mention that

i just got an email from a long time friend who's living in australia and has a 91 delica (same as ours) and the crank bolt blew off totalling his engine.

He said his mechanic told him it's a common problem with the 2.5's if left unchecked

what you see is for gasoline model. not for diesel.
again also do pre inspect the all my delica when they came from japan.
as i all do change timing belt on all my delica. so no problem for me. still inspect this thing all the time.

Someone who knows more can comment, but wouldn't the semi-annual inspections in Japan require that the recall fixes be done to pass inspection?

Some vehicles were taken off the road, parked, and then sold at auction, so they would not have been subject to semi-annual inspection because they were not being driven, hence the odd vehicle with (e.g.) 17,000 true km.
