So...

Anyone ever seen or heard of a delica with snowplow attachment? Somehow I can't imagine such a thing doesn't exist. These last couple of days it could have been very handy :)

I was wondering the same thing !! I was wanting to do my whole street and alley .
I have never seen one for a dlica but i think you are right there has to be one.

Seems like it would work well cab being right over the blade too!

Sounds like a killer add on to me

Not sure there would be enough support to handle a plow as these are a unibody design. Plows work best when bolted to a frame...

That being said, why plow when you can just drive through it?

If you have a front hitch, you should be able to put a snow plough attachment to it.

Because it costs us $200-$300 a pop to get our parking lot plowed at work! Takes them about 30-45 minutes to do it. That's a pretty good return on the investment to get one of those plows put on.

Yes, but how much does a transmission cost for one of these?

get a pull plow, not nearly as much stress on the van, and gets the job done.

well that works for the deli but not for the rest of the people, would be nice to be able to clear the driveways of those not blessed with a deli :) and if your a gardener or landscaper you could still make a little cash when snowing.

i was thinking of attaching this old electric plow thing my dad bought, but it was more for just doing it rather then the use of it.my pops doesnt use it cozz he bought a full on snow plow last years im just wondering weather it would be worth it

well i spent 3.5 houres shoveling a parking lot today becaue the plow guy didn't show up. I know we don't get snow like this often but for when it does happen it would be awesome to have a little plow attachement. I'm not thinking about plowing streets here just the small lots at some of the buildings i deal with. in 4lo i don't think the stress on the vehicle whould be more that hammering it around on rough roads. nice and slow.

anyway i'll let you know if i create anything, or perhaps something will materialize from a deep snow drift in japan.

Damn, no responses to this thread in ages. I would also like to put a plow on my delica. I use mine on a closed road, and I occasionally have great need of a plow.

Putting a blade on something other than a truck is asking for issues. Front mount points are poor.
