Guys I need help...

I had my 1993 Pajero LWB broken into on the weekend and they ripped/pried all the front stereo fascia off in getting the stereo out. It's a mess and I don't think I can repair it - it's broken in three places. Would anyone have or know of where I could get another used console fascia? Luckily they managed to do no door damage amazingly enough but they ripped the sh*t out of the dash.
Thanks to anyone who can provide any help.
Clint

Thanks or that idea. I checked once in Chilliwack at Pick-A-Part once for something and the looked at me like I was on another planet when I even said Mitsubishi. I didn't hold out much hope that I would have much luck with that option. Has anyone had better luck at another wrecker?
Thanks,
Clint

Montero's are a dime a dozen in the states.
If you can't find any around here, I would call up some wreckers across the border.

Wouldn't the console be laid out differently for the left/right hand models? Or is the centre portion the same?

I'd be happy to find one over here for you and send it over we have loads of Pajeros being broken in the uk.
But not sure on the cost of postage over to you, of course if you are interested I can look into it for you.

there is also a local company (in the lower mainland) that does dash and facia repairs.... the guy is a frickin wizard. i used to work for a car audio installation company and he could not only fix ANYTHING he can also fabricate stuff.... unfortunately i can't remember the name of the company but i could always call the old work and find out. if anyone needs!!
but he is mobile and will just work at your house or wherever
anyway let me know if you want his number and ill try and track it down.

So that would mean that just the middle bit would be a lot cheaper to send.
My offer still stands, can get a price for one here and find out about shipping for you

What about talking to an installer at Future Shop. They might have the piece to fill that area.

Unforunately this is a part specific to the contours of the dash, so no universal parts are available. I'm sure they could fiberglass something, but as far as fit kits etc, there'd be nothing.
