First off road trip - Vernon to Oyama by forestry roads

We took our Delica on its first off road adventure this past Sunday by driving from Vernon to Oyama by forestry roads with a few deviations from the main forestry roads now and then. We started on the Vernon end by taking King Edward FSR for 18k and then turning onto Oyama Lake FSR for quite a ways until we hit pavement again. The Delica handled our little outing with ease. I look forward to many more back roads exploring trips in the future! Best of all, it sipped the diesel compared to my F350 which chugged gas to do the same trip.
Here are some photos from the trip... Hope you enjoy them.

Maynard and the road we just came down

Our yellow lab, Hunter, enjoying his first off road Delica trip

Some of the fall colours we saw on our trip

Some Delica cross ditch action

Stopped in at another lake on the way...yeah, it was snowing on me.

Stopped in at Oyama Lake Resort

Foggy view of Oyama Lake
We'll have to get a Delica meet up here and do a group off road excursion! It'll be a little different than the Celica meets I'm used to were we look for twisty fun roads (aka Highway 6 and Westside Road).
