I've scoured the net, forums and sites to find as much info/pictures as I can about DIY/Professional Delica L300 camper conversions.
From translating german/japan forums, etc... it looks like there are more DIY camper conversions than there are 'pro conversions'.
Here is what I have found so far. Please feel free to discuss / add
Reimo conversion (pop top only) normal Delica interior (Canada)
editing ... adding more to the 2nd page.
Pinkpig did a unique conversion as well over on mdocuk

I love the schematic views. I need to hunt down a high res or vector version of those.

This is is really great! Thanks! I had visions of a camper installation in our bus, but I can sleep in it solo on a thermarest across the back floor with my head in the back corner and feet between the bench seat and slider. Actually veeery comfy. And since in our real world 99.99% of any camping done in it is me solo for two or three nights at a stretch at most, and the bus is our day to day gardener work ride, well, it's pretty unlikely I'll be doing any camperizing, but it is REALLY fun to look at those different buses and dream!! Thanks again

The modifications are listed above in my first post.
They were (they made 500 to my knowledge) done by (Reimo) a company in Germany.
or
They were done by individual people.
I don't think there is anyone/company doing camperized modifications to Delica's, however I could be wrong.
Would be nice to find out if there is anyone/company doing this kind of work here in BC.

Translation of the Kombi van images:
Wohnen: "living or dining", as in "the dining room" arrangement.
Fahren: "to go, or to travel", as in the seating arrangement for the driver and passengers.
Shclafen: "to sleep", as in the van set up for the sleeping arrangement.
NOTE: this is some of the worst translation I've done from German in a long time (nearly 25 years!) but I think I've got the general sense of what the images are detailing.
The fourth schematic looks like a general arrangement for all the bits and pieces.
Those are awesome pictures, and I'll keep the two from the '83 model as a template for when I want to camperise the inside of Moon Machine. Should come in handy.
Thanx for all the search-engine work. You must have spent at least a couple of at the keyboard to find all these. Good job!

we have a low roof and are planning on driving to nicaragua but dont think it will be quite big enough for two. i have tried to get in touch with reimo in germany to no avail. the regular vw tops seem too big for the delica but some of these pictures look pretty awsome. i would be pretty interested to find someone who would do something like the zebra diy or something with the aftermarket vw roofs. i guess ill keep my eyes open. thanks for posting these pics they are great inspiration

Jesse, ever thought of the idea of a fiberglass cap and tent to fit the moon roof of a P25? Kinda a mini pop up; sailed with a friend years back were that was the only standing headroom in his 26sail boat. Never seen one on a Delica, but it would allow standing room for one person for cooking, stretching during inclement weather and changing clothes, and might make the interior space for more livable. Combine that with an awning and a rear hatch tent for a quick set up camper.

A pop-top was my original goal as well. I spoke to GTRV in Richmond at one point on the phone to ask if they might be able to modify any of their pop-tops to fit the Delica. They said possibly, and suggested I come by, but I have never gotten around to it ($$$) :(
Could be worth the inquiry.

It will cost a min. 5-6 grand. I already asked. And that's a 'maybe'.
The first they do, if that ever happens, will be an experiment and they will probably give you a 'liability void' form of some sort that exempts them from any liability if the roof folds over in an accident or something.
