Heading out west

Hey there everyone, I am a new Delica Exceed owner out here in Toronto. I am heading back to BC (where I grew up) to tree plant again this summer. You can look for me and my green machine on Vancouver Island and in the Kootenays.

I don't suppose anyone has any idea on a good mechanic in the Toronto area to have my steering aligned? or any suggestions on how I could do it myself?

I love reading all the posts and I am excited to meet some more enthusiasts back home! The folks here cannot quite grasp my excitement over this vehicle.

Thanks all!
Scott.

Welcome to the forum. I lived in Whitby in the early 1980s, bought a Subaru from C&C Motors in Oshawa. They always gave me great service, but that was almost 20 years ago. I see from the Subaru website they are now in Whitby.

Most places that can do an alignment should have no problem doing an alignment. All you need to supply are the specs, which this forum can supply. So just go to a mechanic you already trust (or get a referral) and ask them to do it.

I have family in Ont. that are interested in JDMs but havn't seen many, was registration easy? I drove my deli thru TO last summer.
Heres a pic of the Cheewat Giant on the Island ,7.5M dia, about an hour or two of gnarly logging road west of lake Cowichan.

cheers
