Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hi all, I just realised I've made several posts already but I haven't introduced myself!
So ...... my name is Barry and I come from Brucieland (MysteryMachine) that's the UK.
I have a '93 Auto Exceed, Black over Silver with very dark limo glass which I think makes it look like a panel van so I call it 'The Black Van'.
My wife has a '89 Manual Delica in Silver which I bought cheap but I've done quite a bit of repairing and painting to tidy it up and make it reliable. I hope to do a bit more work on it so we can use it for off-road fun, hence it's name 'Just 4 Fun'. (when I've finished doing stuff to it I will change it's name to 'Just 4X4 Fun').

the bull bars on the black van in your second pic are INSANE!

and the '89 looks nice and lean and clean. I like the minimalist bullbar. And, as skidplates are all the rage this week, I couldn't help but notice your shiny red one.

BTW did you alter the front rads or are they not standard with that model? I don't see them hanging as usual.

I believe those bullbars were originally made for a Pajero/Shogun but the person who owned them had them adapted to fit the Delica and when he sold his Delica for an L400 he sold me the bullbars!

The skidplates are the standard ones, I just removed them and painted them red.
The front rads ...... on an auto the one under the driver's side is for the trans oil cooler ..... as this is a manual 'box it doesn't have one. The rad under the passenger side is for the rear air con .... as the air con didn't work on this van I removed the rad (one less thing to bash when off-roading) eventually I shall remove all the air con bits and pieces.
