insulating wvo pipes?

I was advised the other day to have a second heater just before the injection pump, cause otherwise the oil would cool down by the time it traveled from the WVO tank to the engine. Could one insulate the pipes instead, like done with hot water pipes? Insulating the tank seems reasonable too, ddoes it not?
thanks

hi blissy,
the oil in the pipes will cool off and stay cold even when the tank heats up. i have a heater near the injection pump (and not in the tank) and even the 8 inch hose from the heater to the pump cools down and slows the oil.
there are hose-in-hose heated fuel lines that can heat your oil as it travels from the tank to the IP.
