Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hey folks, jumped into a Delica feeling a bit unsure(no others in Mnitoba as far as I know) I've been commited to producing biodiesel, and now considering WVO kits. I was nervous about cold problems... with a block heater things have worked out pretty good, and the heater cranks out the warmth faster than my brand new VW TDI. The mileage was the big surprise for me. It is worse than a 3/4 ton truck I drove for years.... Definately gives me a nudge to get the WVO figured out.... I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions to this forum, as I have only basic knowledge of engines, and there won't be any experts in the area...... If anyone knows other Delica owners in Manitoba or good mechanics, etc.....

I lucked out and found a 1990 star wagon auto with only 38,000 kms from Max. Overdrive.....

I'm certain you're the 1st Delica owner in "Mnitoba" and probably the 1st one as well in Manitoba. I know exactly which van you bought, I saw it when I last drop by MaxO/D, very nice and CLEAN van, well done! Have a great time, and sounds like you won't be the only one with a Delica in your neck of the wood, someone else from Winterpeg was inquiring very recently...

I am from Winnipeg and posted my first message on this site a few days ago. I do not own a Delica but am very interested. I would be interested in how it works for you here in the cold. Keep us updated. Are you here in Winnipeg?
