Rear end problems L400 Space Gear

I have a 1996 Delica L400 Space Gear and the rear right axle is frozen but the left side turns. Calipers have been removed, so it's not brakes.
I can drive the van forward and backward, but the right rear wheel drags, left turns no problem. WTF?
