Curious if anyone locally around Lower mainland has found an under-seat lock box that works in L400's? I'm thinking there should be some decent metal appendages to bolt it to if it was installed under the drivers seat (from behind). There seems to be enough room there for something like this.

Fitting a laptop may be a stretch, but ipad mini for sure.

Just need a secure place to lock things like an ipad or similar for road trips when I park van to go mountain biking for a few hours. Would never leave anything in here long term.

FYI - if you look on this page there are tons of solutions by Tuffy for older trucks too. If no one here has any tips I'll probably figure a solution that works from one of these.

Yup. Definitely. This is the value of this site. I'll be a frequent poster over the next couple weeks as I get my van all set up.

Watch for mu rubber garage matting floor posts to come up. Might install this weekend. Second attempt as did it in my old L300 too.
