Nice looking hitch, that'll generate plenty of interest. How many will you have available?
Could you post larger photo's for better detail?

Looks great!
Do you have specs on these, ie. towing capacity? Do these required removal of the rear bumper bar?
Thanks for getting those on the market!
PM sent.

I am ordering 10 pcs right now, if I get more orders within a week, I will be able to order more (finalizing order this week). I believe the vendor mentioned that it is adjustable so that you can play with the clearance. You may have to remove the rear bumper bar. They are built for L300 4WD and bolt on. I will know more about the towing capacity soon and then i will post all the details. thanks for showing interest.

just received some more photographs of the actual hitch installed. Towing Capacity with trailer brakes 4000-4400 lbs, without trailer brake 1700 pounds in 100 kmph.

I'm in!
Nice flexible design. Looks like you can have trailer hooked up and also receiver style accessory racks at the same time because the 2 sides also have receivers. Could even modify the removed bumper bar to fit the side receivers when not towing.
Email sent!

Yes, that's why I wanted more detail for also! It would be neat to carry a 2" receiver bike at the same time as towing the trailer. Most of time I want to carry the bikes, out side of the van, I am pulling a trailer. Front wheels would have to be removed, if the hitch works this way.

Appears SOMEBODY was thinking when they designed this one. Somebody with a welder and a creative mind could have a lot of fun making "thingys" for the extra 2 holes.... uhhh.... I'll leave that one alone
BTW BCDelica... if you decide to order one and can somehow arrange the financial side ahead of time, I can arrange to bring it with me to our weekend place in Davis Bay. Would cut out one ferry for you at least. A good excuse to put a couple Delis in one place and meet a fellow Delica Type. Just a thought.

Thank you for the offer, but I'm waiting a bit till another Delica project is finished. If it works out I won’t need a hitch, but I’m only in the design and materail purchasing stage right now.

Kev

Mdrive, does this hitch allow you to keep your spare tire stowed underneath, or do you need to store elsewhere? It looks like enough room but I want to make sure.

Mdrive, does this hitch have a 2" receiver or a different size? Just looking into hitch mounted bike racks and would like to narrow down my search :)

And this after I make the trek to the Mainland last week to visit with E&H Hitch Shop! Oh well, I think mine will be able to carry a bit more because it is fastened much further forward (near the axle), not just bolted into the rear bumper mounting holes.
Despite the cost of the ferries, which I won't get into because it is too infuriating, the total cost came to 515$: that was installation, wiring harness, and a splash of paint to make it look pretty. Rick only took 3 hours, and he indicated that he stopped counting how many hitches he's fabricated after he passed 50! So, long-story-short, if you want a well-built hitch, think about E&H Hitch in Burnaby.
That is of course only once Maximum Overdrive runs out of theirs....

You can keep your spare tire once the hitch is installed.
We received fair amount of pre arrival purchase already. Thanks to everyone who dropped their checks.
Shipment will arrive 5 weeks from now, will notify all buyers who already bought them. Thanks Again.
