Clock and outside temp reading

Hi,

I have an L400 super exceed. My clock and my temp reading light keep fading and coming back on. Sometimes I can't even read the outside temp at all.

Radio, lights, windows etc are totally fine. Dash lights are fine.

Had a squeak in by belts - turned out to be the crank pulley. Thought this might be the cause, but new crank pulley and belts have not solved the issue.

Any ideas?

Thank you

No solution but I have the same problem in my 1995 2.8 chamonix. Is yours always bright when your headlights are off? Mine are. I've always assumed it was due to an almost invisibly dim set of led side markers added in for canadian compliance leeching off the same circuit. Good luck friend.

Hey. See wiring behind your middle console. Clock, "top console'' and some more things, turning signals for instance, lead to the same "main'' wiring. I have discovered this when I swapped my radio
Check out this amazing instruction. Picture 6 and 18 showing wiring you should be interested in.

Good luck.
