I was curious where people have gotten their brake shoes for the l300 from?
I ordered a pair of raybestos 524PG that I saw another member part about but they didn't fit. I ordered a pair from partsouq but they cancelled my order as they didn't have the inventory... I am about to try with amayama but don't necessarily want the same thing to happen, plus if I can go down to Napa and avoid shipping I'm all for it.

Amayama.com or PartSouq.
I got the local shoes and they turned out to be for the two wheel drive Vanwagon. Quite different from the Starwagon.

MR178825
PartSouq:
  • Mitsu- 79.99$; After Market (JFBK)- 26.91$.

Amayama:
  • Mitsu- $104.56

(USD)

Nevermind, I see that your looking for rear pads, not fronts.

Good luck

Thanks Falco, I tried getting the jfbk off partsouq but they're out of stock. Considering ordering them from anayama but Amazon has raybestos 510pg for cheap.
Has anyone had luck with the 510pg? They look similar but not identical to the stock shoes.

NISSHINBO T686

(Found by Googling "MR178825 brake cross reference")

No idea if they're accurate. I threw a few of those cross reference part numbers into Google and they all look the same. Napa should be able to find a match to at least one of these part numbers- I'm guessing the Delphi or Ferodo numbers would be the easiest to match.

Asked napa about the ferodo number and they say they have them in stock. Super easy. Almost too easy for a Delica...We'll see this evening!

Let us know if they're correct and we'll add them to the part numbers thread in the FAQ/TRL.

Unfortunately no dice. They tried to look up those numbers but didn't have them in their database. My Mitsubishi dealer can get the oem shoes for 160. Woof.

Find a thrusted Canadian Dealer/garage and ask what you want/not available locally. By doing prehenptive maintenance, you can order/store parts you will eventually need well before you have to change it. With the exange rate adventage is your$ 8-) When I give Steven (from Rising Sun) a phone call, I ask what I want and he knows what I need and get it to my door within a week

I think I'll have to go that route lapparentis. As much as I'd like to be able to find cross compatable ones locally, and not be paying $100 for brakes and shipping...I feel I've exhausted the leads I know of.

I ordered Wagner QC530 pads for the Montero, from Rock auto, and they're the wrong ones. I think they're for dual piston, and I need for single piston. Any leads, anyone?

So I got some pads for the Dodge Ram 50, which was a captive import built for Chrysler by Mitsubishi, and many of the chassis parts are the same as the Delica. And they fit!

Brand is Raybestos, part number PGD349C.At Lordco, with an account # they're $101. Really nice! Every time I hit the brakes I can't believe this is my car.
