Is the 2.4 diesel the most reliable engine in the delica?

it all depends on your maintenance and driving skills!

all engines have their pros and cons... Mine (4D56) is in top shape, with only 165000Klm on the clock...! why do I know? I do preventive maintenance and I'm driving it like a grand pa!! !

Yes it is! They used that engine in plenty of different application or models. Even in the famous GTO twin turbo!

...though the 2.8 and V6 were never available in the Star Wagon (L300), only in the Space Gear (L400).
