Keep in touch Kalto ! I am in Quebec City too Send me, if you want, your personal email, throught private message ! Ah, will be about 5 total L300 in Quebec Province

Now, for sure you are aware that you will have to wait until it is 25 Years Old to be plated overhere, unless you keep it BC (or other province) plated until it reach 25YO, it means 2017-2018 for you to wait ?
While driving it uphill (even lows hills) just be aware not to puch too hard on the gaz pedal so it do not overheat...the dash needle is about useless for that: you have to put an EGT or "feel" it....

Keep in touch and post pictures if you can

Partly because La Belle Province uses Napoleonic Civil Law, which permitted a Quebec bureaucrat to say "I think I'll make all the RHD vehicles wait twenty-five years before they can insure in Quebec."
I think to keep ICBC on your wagon you need to have a BC address.

Another problem with government run insurance. All the vehicles at the outer fringes of "normal" get penalized. Ontario has companies that specialize in RHD insurance.

Until a few years ago, it was 15 YO here too (Quebec), until, after one big car accident involvimg a young (unconscious) driver racing its RHD then it was changed to 25 ain order to limit those sport cars imports....It woulld had been wise for them (Government) to make a distinction between sports RHD cars and our Vans when they changed the law but they did not

Hey QC Delica owners - any suggestions on a mechanic in the Quebec City area? I'm looking at buying one there and need a third party to evaluate it.
Where do you take yours when you can't fix a problem yourself?
Cheers!

I do bring mine to a garage were I do have a dedicated mechanic that he is the only one working on my L300. I went there a couple of time so he begins to be quite familiar to these vehicles (Garage Martin Picard in Wendake). Now, Any good mechanic will do about the same as he is doing. When I am in a need for a real expert I do know a guy (he is a member here) that knows much more in depth the 4D56 Engine but he is doing it as a hobby, when he has some spare time...
