I have read the threads regarding wet feet and the associated fix, which is something I will likely be undertaking in the not-so-distant future, but I am wondering if water from the forward part of the front wheel well could also be a contributing factor. If the body seal is the culprit, I would expect my carpet to be wet above where ones toes would be positioned when sitting in the passenger seat. In my case, the carpet is saturated where the floor meets the engine bay (and when I say saturated, I mean soaking - enough water that I can squeegee it out!)

Has anyone identified the wheel well as a source of water entering the cabin?

i imagine there are a few different spots the water could be getting through but it seems the quarter panel seem is the most common. i was driving with my feet in a puddle until i got that seem laminated. now it's all dry in there.

Agree, the quarter panel fix is the most common requirement to dry out the floors up front. It worked well for my passenger side, but I found the driver side also had water coming in from the windscreen / windshield to a lesser degree. I pulled back the carpet and put in talc as suggested by Bruce of Mystery Machine fame - found the leak the next morning after a night of rain. The local glass shop says they are afraid to break the windshield and will not attempt a fix at this point. I have not contacted Japanoid yet - they seem to have alot of glass in stock, but intend to try re-sealing the windshield / windscreen and/or replace the rubber this coming spring.

in my case water is coming in without driving, so I suspect the door seals or windshield
