92 Chamonix. I just picked up a few days ago..

Love it!! purrs like a cat and goes where i want it to..

was planning on removing the stickers on the side.. but have decided against it.. I like the cheesy saying.. even though the suggestion has been to change it to shaggin wagon from "Specially designed for the all season outdoor player" This Van will suit my needs quite nicely after i build a bed ontop of storage. remove the front fog light hindrance and the window covers which restrict visibility.

Very Nice, welcome. See you have the BFG AT's, which would seem to be the ideal Delica tire. Those window visors (you have the extra large version too boot) can be made crystal clear with polish of nu-finish/brasso/etc. Two rubbings of nu-finish car wax, twice a year, keeps me from ripping off our visors.

Don't understand the fog light protector??

Love the snow shot!

I'm getting real jealous looking at all these Delica-in-the-snow shots! Living down here at the bottom of the Island where it rains more than it snows.... well, we're just not getting our fill of dropping it into 4WD and bombing through the white stuff. In fact, we haven't yet. I think it's time for a road-trip further north.

Anyway, welcome to the club. Enjoy your new ride.

They took to deep snow with ease.. churns along without a complaint. in the photo i kept driving and only got stuck when i hit a lower spot and it was pushing snow high on the nose of the van.. then i got stopped in my tracks.. so i put it in reverse and it hooked up no prob and backed out.. and in 2wd and because the Delica has a small turning radius and pretty good lock to lock steering you can get her way sideways and still keep the nose pointed in the right direction.. aslong as you arent asleep at the wheel.

and im sure alot of this is too do with the very good weight ratio front to back.. and of course the BFG ATs and the LSD..

i still have the shocks that it came with.. and i need to crank my torsion bars a bit. there is alittle bit of sag in the front.. would be nice to get new shocks now but i cant afford to do everything i want in one fell swoop.. but batteries first and torsion bars now that i have a dry shop to do it in :)

Nice Van! I think that it looks better in the snow as well. Where can I find that piece of plastic light cover? I want one!
