Quick help needed with brake job.

Just working my way through replacing the front brakes on my L400. Nearly there but I have ran into an issue. I have gotten the hub and disk off the axle but am having trouble seperating them. I have worked the six bolts holding them together but am unable to access the nuts on the back of the bolts.

According the the manual it is the "rotor" on the back of the disc that needs to be removed, its part of the ABS system. There were two bolts holding it down, which I have sinced removed. But I cant get the damn thing to budge! Not sure if I need to to twist or pry more? Or do I have to remove more of the bearing assembly first? Trying to minimize that, I dont have any new seals for them.

Here a picture of the offending part on the back of the disc.

Thanks!

Managed to get that off but now I am having other issues. The abutment clips on one of the calipers will not fit. Yet they fit on the other new caliper and all the old ones. Which makes me think I was given the wrong caliper. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I ordered the caliper from CCautos, I was very clear on what I needed.

Never should have taken this job on, it has turned into a nightmare!

Sounds like the first time I took on a brake job too! Can't give you any tips unfortunately though. Hope it all works out!

This is from a different forum, but I did my brakes today and had no problems besides some seized bolts
