95 L400 condition of interior plastics

Picked up my Delica today, its '95 gasoline engine, Super Exceed. Its cold so cant really spend too much time playing with it.
Two things I have noticed that I am not too crazy about.
1. Aftermarket wiring inside, I think its parking sensors, boxes in each outside/inside corner.
Looks messy, hopefully easy to remove.
2. Some plastics don't look too great, mainly bottoms of the front seats, hand brake handle...
They seem very easy to scratch, like the plastic oxidized a bit...
Other than that looks fine.

Had the same issue with the plastic parts , cleaned them up with a scotchbrite pad and spray painted with krylon plastic paint. Worked great.

I had the same issue with my ebrake handle. I cut off the plastic cover and installed a carbon fiber-aluminum unit for a Mitsubishi Lancer (evo). Perfect fit! Also comes in black anodized aluminum.

I wonder if you can get matching steering wheel.
If it comes to steering wheels, what am I looking for specification wise, to have it fit L400?

I have some vinyl duplicolor left, but reading reviews of the krylon, seem worth to try it.

I use Auto Glym Vinyl and Plastic Treatment. There was an area on the front console, above the instrument cluster that was all scratched up, I suspect from the camera mount being removed by the previous owner, as well as the E brake handle. It wasn't an one-time instant fix but it's really cleaned up nicely over time. Especially the E brake handle, as it gets used so often, it gets burnished by your hand.

The best way to remove the plastic handle is with a die grinder or mini rotozip type tool.
The plastic cover is pressed on at the factory so you either beat it with a hammer and chisel in the opposite direction and risk hitting your stereo/center console....or you can use a sharp utility knife and carefully split the plastic handle. The button can be saved with a scotch bright pad.
