Trailer Parking?

Post by nxski »

I'm moving to Coquitlam or New West and am limited to underground parking in most places. My van can be parked on the street, so that's not a problem, but my trailer needs to be off the road. Does anyone know of some cheap lots I could park it in? They would just need to be in the general vicinity since I don't tow my trailer too often and will likely also just be using it partially for storage.

Move to Langley and get acreage instead. Then you can also get a boat for the weekend.

I couldn't afford acreage in Langley. I was in school 2 years ago and was away for 5 months last year (they use your last 2 years income to calculate your mortgage). I'm buying a cheap apartment to live in for a few years before buying a second place and renting it out. I have since found a few storage places in Surrey that have gated lots for $35-75/month. Just curious if anyone knew of something similarily priced in the New West or Coquitlam area.

You're lucky, storage is waaay cheaper in the mainland compared to the Island.
My new novel A Dark and Promised Land has just been released by Dundurn Press. "On the eve of war he is compelled to reclaim her love, setting himself against his people amid a conflict that will form a nation." http://www.darkpromisedland.com/

That's if you can find deals. I called a few places in Coquitlam and new West that wanted between $400 and $600/month. I could have rented out part of a house with a driveway for that!
