So, it is time. Finally decided to do it.

I have read everything there is so far on here about the lifts. Can't get a hold of Jessef about his lifts, but apparently he has some left?

Any last suggestions? CVI is charging $1600 (which isn't bad) but would be cheaper to go with Jessef set up.

I have always been intrigued if it would be possible to somehow get front airbags installed and achieve a temporary 2" lift for use when you need it and deflate when you don't. You can do this with the rear, but I don't know how you would do it for the front.

CVI was selling Jessef's lifts last I hear. $1600 sounds about right for the lift kit, shocks, install and alignment from CVI. You could phone and ask how much it would cost to buy them separately. I paid $700 to buy the kit, $400 or 500 for the install and $100 for the alignment (that's a little bit less but CVI would have to make a bit of profit on anything they sell and L400's may have higher costs associated).

If money is an issue it should be super easy to install a 2" L400 lift yourself with hand tools if you can just get the kit. It is a very basic lift kit. Then just pay $100 for an alignment when done. The saved money buys a lot of beer.

Money is not the issue, it just would be nice to spend less.
If all goes well, will instal the CVI lift asap.

I had the CVI 2" lift kit installed and I can now drive over tall trees and vault traffic in a single bound... nah..
I still am running standard size tires. I tried a set of 31" snow tires but they rubbed just a little so I backed away.
It has changed the van in that it handles better (newer shocks) but it's even more of a beast to get in and short folks can only jump and hope for the best when getting out. Looks much better however.. and that's priceless.
