Hi-

I registered my l400 in New Brunswick back in 2011 and they put me through hell on earth. I eventually got it on the road but am now wondering if anyone has done it since. Just curious as I have a few friends who are keen on getting into a Delica but I don't know what to tell them about the registration process. Does anyone know anyone who has put any RHD vehicle on the road in New Brunswick in the past year for that matter?? Just wondering where the department of safety stands on the issue....

Thanks

As long as it has been registered in a Canadian province they should have no problem switching the registration. I was a couple years ago registering mine but from what I understand, as long as it is MVI'd and has a valid registration to transfer to NB, you're golden.

Cheers

I have worked with a few customers in that area do registration in the past few months and no problems. That's providing the paperwork is in order, but it's all workable. These were for vehicles direct from Japan. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

They have Delicas in Taiwan as well, which is an LHD country. So if NB is hassling, or insurers won't insure or give decent rates, Taiwan is another option.
