Aside from the deck, have many people on here changed the actuay speakers in the car.i got a sirus radio thats wicked for classic rock and 50 (for some reason i like 50 music alot)any ways,my brother alos mixes songs that have alot of base or just lots of different sounds happening at once, they sound absolutly terrible on my system. But i dont know anything about car audio,so i figured id take the first step here and ask? any helpful thing to say?

hi patty, yes replace all the speakers. front left is a pain and you have to remove the rear seat and lot of plastic to get at the back ones. i have a 10" sub with separate amp in a box in the back. that should let you rock out.

brand isn't that important, budget thing really. up front are 4" i think, a&b sound knows. the drivers side is really easy to take out and i just took that in. the backs are 5 1/2" but you can fairly easily fit 6x9's if you want. the sub is altec lansing i believe, bought it off ebay. the amp is alpine, again i think and from ebay. built the enclosure myself to fit behind the drivers seat on the carpeted bit. i think the better you can afford the better it sounds. i assume double subs would thump even better, lots of space to fill with sound.

i thought subs should always be in the back of the vehicle, cozz if you were sitting in the middle seats wouldnt s sound kinda funny?what you did was pretty much what i waned to do, althought when i went into different places and just looked at stuff it was all like 300 for cross over and tweeders then like 200 for a sub and another 200 for the amp, i wasnt willing to spend that much.how much did you spend?and did you replace the wiring or the old stuff was good enough?

Previous owner of mine actually put in a pioneer premier Cd deck with IPOD integration which is sweet.. and replaced the speakers with some other cheap speakers which didn't sound too great.. so I added a small powered sub, now it sounds excellent. I believe I paid $99 for a powered 8" sub in a tube.. it's a "bazooka bass tube" from futureshop. Very simple wiring and I just put it behind the drivers seat.
Sound is good whether your in the front, middle, back. No rattling or vibrating. I'm pleased.

Yeah my deck seems newer then most of the original decks iv scene in delis so i thought it was changed but it says mitsubishi delica on the side of the brand name i think its adobi, any ways it has a tape deck that doesnt work for some reason and then nothing else except a "cd" plug in,so i just hard wire my ipod/sirus right in.thats amazing though thats EXACTLY what i was gonna do same brand of sub and everything.I jst wasnt sure if just putting in a sub would be enough. On the other hand i would liek to play it really loud (my drivers door doesnt close all the way now cozz of the wheel thing,so theres a constant loud wind)i want to dround it out with music and my back speakers make a funny noise when they go even alittle loud.
can that tube sub fit underneith the back seats,or is it to fat?

deck 80 at cdn tire, sub and amp 50 each off ebay, speakers 200, wiring 50, replaced all plus sub wiring. placing sub right behind the drivers seat gives that thump in your soul if you want that. sounds great, could always sound better...

yeah for awhile i was looking at those like 500 to 700 decks by pioneer and others that look all small and thne you push a button and i nice little tv pops up,and you can watch dvds on it and what not.but then i lined it all up from the back seats and realized that i wouldnt be able to watch it anyways from back there because of the massive stick and 4x4 stick.owell saved me money.i was gonan put in another cheeper one but i figured it qwould look weird with the rest of the dash on the deli,it would have lots of lights and what not..then again i was looking at putting those little LED's above my petals and under the rear seets with a little switch and everything.i dont know first prioety it roof rack(being build right now) then new speakers then lift it and hopfully some where inbetween there get some better tint on my back windows, mine are completly see threw.to bad its gonna cost me my first born child for all that

Im looking into speakers , maybe a sub tube also, my work gave me $240 gift certificate for Future shop ,as fare as DVD players go Ibought one 7" from London Drugs $125 itll do , so I bought one of those tape addapters you stick in the deck with the wire hanging out, pluge it into the DVD ,the power addapter to the cigarette lighter, place it between the front seats on the console, turn the key get in the back, close the shades ,recline the seats ,crack a beer (or what have you) turn it up and enjoy, the best part you dont even realize your looking at a 7" screen, its all about the sound ,the first movie ever watched in The Vallyforge (my van) was Young Guns it was the best way ive ever watched a movie and you can do it any were. I recomend it ,and this is off the stock deck, and who the hell is going to steal that.

yeah, at first i decided to go cheepo and i bought a adapter for my cigarette lighter ( a bigger one i forget how much it actualy is)anyways then i borrowed my friends home entertainmnet system, you know those 70 dollar once most people use em for there computers.it worked pretty well except there were wires all over the place an di had wedged the speakers between seats and what not,it was very steelable.thne one day i left the van at his house and when i came back it was all gone and set up in his kitchen..i never asked if i could use em again
