Delica Trading Post for Parts (Non-Commercial)

As many are aware from other threads on the subject, we revisited the wisdom of the recent migration of non-commercial parts-related threads to Delica Trader.
Delica Trader offers a useful platform for posting items that can be classified by standard measurable dimension (price, mileage, model number). Vehicles are easy to classify in this manner; parts are not. Delica Trader works well (relative to the forum) for the posting of vehicles for sale. However, DT does not working as well as we had initially hoped when it comes to parts.
On a related note, the temporary “access-blocking” of older threads (over the Sunday-to-Monday period) relating to parts sales was caused by forum permissions being changed in the course of doing routine housekeeping. I am aware that considerable debate and speculation followed over the root cause of this, and I can assure all parties affected that there was no “malice” intended.
You may have noticed a new forum entitled “Delica Trading Post for Parts (Non-Commercial”). All prior parts-related threads have been unlocked and restored within the newforum, and new threads created within the "Trading Post" are included in View Active Topics (VAT).
As always, thanks for everybody's continued support and patience as we work toward improving the way non-commercial parts-related posts are handled.
