Meet 15 Sept2011 IKEA COQ 5-9PM; Anna&Pablo Around The World

Hello All, It's Deli-Meet Time! Thursday 15 Sept 2011 at IKEA COQUITLAM 5-9PM; Special guests are Anna & Pablo who have been driving the L300 Delica Around The World for 10 years.
Anna & Pablo are staying at TardisDeli home this week. Yes, they have been to the Yukon and Alaska via the Dempster and Dalton Highways this summer, been to Deadhorse and Inuvik and everywhere, and just returned back Home to the Tardis full of stories. See how they have evolved and equipped their Delica over the past 10 years into a very minimalist yet well prepared vehicle for travel (I wish I could become that organized !).
Meet in the south east corner, as usual. IKEA open to 9pm (shunt your non-delica-appreciative spouses into the store). Also open to 9pm is the exit level tiny bistro with hotdogs, icecream, cinnamon buns (beware, they have changed the cinnamon bun for the worse -- meh). The restaurant upstairs is open to 8pm only.
Note lovely NEW entrance for cars heading west on Lougheed, is at the east end of the store, and has its OWN traffic light, and it merges with the usual eastbound entrance from Lougheed. You cannot get there from Princess Auto via the little road under the highway due to construction. See Ikea.ca for map during construction.
See you there. All welcome, strangers become instant friends. Non-Delicas totally welcome.
Cheers, Christine.
