The parts i did order don't fit my 89. it will fit a 92 and up though. I am looking for the rear pads that look like this.Help i have about 20 000 ks left then out of co mish. But am i ??. I still can send my pads to Alberta brake and clutch in Edmonton to have new pads put on. Then i have to wait for the bus to go anywhere, until they come back from Edmonton . How long this takes i don't know. This is why i want a second set so i can send one and use one set. I need help very soon.
Mitsu in Calgary is no help even with part #s . They hate the RHD. And will not order or even look for the parts anymore. Thanks for the service. Mitsu Dealers. Love the product still.

Go in and tell them you have a 4 cylinder 1988 Mitsubishi Montero. These were sold in North America (Canada and US) so it's in their system.
You don't have to tell them it's RHD. It's the same vehicle except for the engine/steering wheel.

Thanks for the info . I Just tried and found out the 87,88,89 Montero did not come with rear disc. Same as the Raider. Going to call Rocky Mountain Imports and get them from John. I know he has them but I am trying to find them at a lower price but not easy to find part. I can send my old ones to Edmonton brake and clutch to be re padded. But that means the ride is not a ride for one week. If you or anyone has an old set around i could use them and send them to be relined would be great. Thanks for all the help.

From what I gather on other paj forums, only the JDM mitzu pajero's/strada's etc had the rear disks. Everywhere else got rear drums until the second gens.

Don't know if you've seen this site yet... 4x4 Wire They list some parts including Pajero diesels...
There's a few posts regarding front/rear pads, rotors, and caliper's. Including one that has the upgrade.
http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat. ... age=0&vc=1
And a Canadian Pajero dedicated site...
http://www.jdm.net/pajero/viewtopic.php ... 3ce6323c86
I'm going to have to do this myself soon so I am a little curious...

Have you thought about the swapping out the rear calipers/pads to the newer one's ? They are cheap across the border at NAPA. $75 per side fully loaded.

We have them for $78.00, there is no match in North America. To do rear conversion, it will be very expensive,. you will need the get a whole rear axel from the wrecker.
