Simple stuff first,I would check the fuel filter,
use the drain and pump on the housing in
the morning see if any poop or water come out.
If you have not changed it in a while just swap
it out,eliminate a variable.

Might check the air filter, too. Not enough air and the fuel starves.

I'd be concerened with the whining sound and esp. the vibrations - I suggest a check of your belts esp the timing and balancer belts. Pop the 'hood' and remove the plastic belt cover for a look-see.
There are stories of balancer belts breaking, then f-ing up the timing belt in turn pooching your entire engine.
