I know it must have been covered in here somewhere but I can't see where..
Where is the oil filter, and how much oil is required for an oil change?
Also, what's everyone using for motor oil?
Thanks muchleee

hi, its under the Turbo driver side, its a big filter, total oil is 6.5 liter when you put new oil filter, i used chevron delo 400 15w40, or Esso XD3 15W40 for diesel truck. used this one & your be fine, never used gasoline oil . it will destroy your engine only heavy duty diesel oil.
Cheers :

Do you have the part number for that Fram filter, Adam? My part store just charged me $5 more, then usual, for my Luber-finer filters yesterday.

lordco has a funny pricing structure. They have different prices depending on if your a regular customer with an account or just some joe off the street. Sometimes if you call them up they'll give you the less-of-a-shank price so they sound competitive, then when you go in to the store you can tell them you were given such and such a price for it, and as long as it's within their 'sale' range they'll sell it to you for that.

Oil filter numbers; Baldwin- BD 28 NAPA- 1067 FRAM-PH6355- Canadian Tire version $36.54,
WIX- 51067 If you happen to be in Victoria, Esquimalt auto has it for $34.89 These numbers have been crossed over from the Mitsubishi number that my 92 Delica Exceed had. Hope this helps. James

ok well sounds like it would work if I got a case of them, but I want to be in a delica to meet with everyone to exchange the cash for filter. I feel all ashamed being in my work beater waiting for my keeper van to arive... this waiting stuff is for the birds, I was never a greatly patient child and everytime I sell a delica it makes it worse that mine is not here yet.....

just over a month and she will be here and in my happy hands.

Would these filters be ubiquitous and work for my 91 Exceed or will I have to get a different one? Anyone know? If they do work I would be down for a couple and a meet.

Hi, this Fram filter from lordco is made in Korea, as to let everybody know, they are not made in USA or Canada,
i can you supply you guy for $20 each + Tax & shipping, same oil filter also made from Asia taiwan or china, the inside filter is very good, tested & used it here without any problem, never have problem bursting this cheap filter, its basically good, Max Usage is 5,500 kms on it. if you guys want to buy bulk i can supply it. give you better discount if buying bulk, as i import this filter by myself for all my Delica & Pajero.
let me know guys if you need this filter, its a direct fit for Delica & pajero. No problem
Cheers:
