				You know Mararmeisto, when Christine & Jay first put together the Mini Meet at Boundary, 12 people had responded to the thread, a number of them saying.... um.... don't know if I can get off work, &c. So, we were estimating eight or so would show. Boy, when I got there, and I was early, there were already eight. I think we had 22 there at any one time during that show. I guess what I am really saying is that I wouldn't be surprised if there are many Delioids that have been monitoring this thread but haven't said anything on it, but thought, cool, this looks like fun. The coordinates are where? Before you know it they have their own game plan and on your way up you keep running into Delicas at fuel pumps and coffee shops.
You never know.
Falco.

				Brian says may be okay with 4x, as long as you aren't towing, he has the boat on and wouldn't try it.

				so, it seems the way to get there (if anyone is confused) is to go out Hwy 4 (4 km), take the left at McCoy Lake Road (1.5 km), left toward Mission Road (1.8 km), Right on Mission Road (then 29 km) to the campsite. Heard from Brian a couple hours ago, can't get a cell signal now, so unless I hear different, that is still the place. I will post if I hear different.

always room for more, even if we have to double up in campsites, we'll find some corner to squeeze you into.

				Hey, thanks for the heads up. I was planning to take highway 4 to South Taylor Main and then double back to Snow Creek..... is this the route that is 'impassable'?
I have an appointment at Country Coombs @ 1300 hrs and then was going to head up after that ETA around 1600. If I'm not there by dark send the marines.... see you guys tomorrow night. I don't have a CB but will bring along my marine VHF handheld. Will try calling you guys on channel 69.
Cheers

There was a slide there several months ago, Brian says there are rocks and tree branches in the way, but maybe if you aren't towing you could get through. He was towing the boat, so didn't want to try it. If you can't get there from here (this route) you have to drive back to Sproat Lake by the Provincial park and come in that way.

				We won't make it. Kim fell and hurt her back playing Hockey. We can't evan drive over speed bumps! A logging road would be out of the question. Sounds like we are going to miss the camping trip of the year. Take and post lots of photos for us.

				We're heading up to main beach for some surfing sat morning and will head back to snow creek sat evening from south taylor main.
If anyone ends up going there today and deems it impassable, please leave a note/marking of some kind at the hwy turnoff so we (others) won't attempt it.
Thanks ! Looking forward to some time away from the city

				We might see you around tofino saturday then, which beach is main beach?
We will probably drive straight from nanaimo to tofino saturday morning and spend the day there, and head to snow creek later in the day (in time for dinner

  )

  sorry I'm a little old school. Long beach is actually main beach.
Long beach is the touristy name for it.
We may do the same. We'll be at the small parking lot (north) black chamonix.
