Mr. Lube etc

Post by Airgonzo »

Anyone have any experience taking their machine to Mr Lube or other oil change spots? I normally do my own oil/lube but will be leaving to Yellowknife soon and will either have to change the oil well before due or change it enroute and I'd rather not do it myself if that's the case. It would be much easier just to go to a drive-through place. I probably will be in a hurry. Also may have to change to 5W30 en-route depending on the weather and how the cold starts are.

Do they have the proper filters etc.?

I've had good experiences with the mr lube on arbutus near broadway in Vancouver and I've yet to find a vehicle they don't have a filter for.
