Rumours
I was talking with Brain Kangas the other day and he told me a few things that were about to happen , but I have quoted him in the past and looked stupid when BC inspections did not do what he told me . What have you heard ??

Re: BC inspections
I was told yesterday by a local Insurance Broker (who had Icky-Bicky on the line..) that Japanese VINS would be accepted IF the BC Inspection report was submitted electronically by the Inspector, and registration could then be completed. If submitting a manual Inspection report, then I would have to submit a BC VIN application and wait wait wait for a plate plate plate before registering. The Inspector also mentioned something about an August deadline for Inspections to go Electronic.....
On the Ministry website, I also came across a Sample Template for Required Vehicle Compliance Information....complete with "example photos" showing a (guess what?) DELICA.....check it out:
http://www.th.gov.bc.ca/cvse/vehicle_in ... ements.pdf
Maybe we will luck out and get our new Delly registered by next week sometime......sigh!
    How cruel the wait!
