it is quite obvious which one is more capable out of the box and which one is easier to mod.

The Pajero is a bit more capable than the Delica out of the box completely stock because of the better approach angle and wider track, however I've run both my Pajero and Delica into the ground on trails and they are both more than adequate. The underdog of the Cruiser scene so to speak.

The Delica is easier to mod up to a 2" lift but after that the Pajero is much easier to work on and achieve more lift = larger tires/clearance.

I've done a 3" body lift & 3" susp lift on a Pajero running 35's.

All in all, I personally prefer a Gen II Montero/Pajero over a Delica L300/L400 for offroading use and street comfort but that's because the Delica L300's are based on the Montero/Pajero Gen I and not the 2nd Generation.

We chose to move to a Delica for the extra room in the rear. Other than that, we would have kept our Paj. It was a LWB and both of us could sleep head to toe in it with the stock seats folded down and watch the stars through the huge moon roof.

Pajero = frame (Ford Explorer)
Delica = unibody (Jeep Cherokee)

No problem. You apparently "don't know". The unibody on the Delica L300's are built very stout and have more flex tolerance than the Pajero frame box = better offroad when front and rear are flexing in different directions.

They are all great vehicles.


Like I said in my post above before you thread got turned upside down :

Your price is very good based on what's out there right now for a LWB, especially if it's in great running shape.

That is a good deal and good luck with the sale.

If I were you, I would just delete this thread and post a new one for sale in other non-delica vehicles and leave it at that.

They have been around years before Delica's even came into existence in Canada.

Pajero's were here first and have a very strong following (under Montero name) in the US since that 80's.

It seems that couple of Delica owners here gave up on their rusted Volkswagen vans and went to the Delica. HARDCORE TREE HUGERS.
I don't know why are they always talking about me having attitude and being bitchy when is you with the attitude and the bitchiness ( don't you see that you're the complainer all the time - not me ) like I said I'm a happy easy going person with no DELICA TUNNEL VISION.

Not sure what me owning only Toyota's at the moment has to do with telling you that your for sale post was in the wrong section. Oh my I'm so embrassed! It was meant as a poke so you could repost your add in the proper section where people look for vehicles other than Delica's thus increasing the chance of it getting sold. Again...hence why it is called the OTHER VEHICLE section. do...you...under...stand...the...basic...logic...of...that???

Maybe with the proceeds from your sale you can go back to school and work on getting that grade 10 under your belt. Increasing your reading comprehension skill is something that will benefit you over your entire life. You can do it!
