General disscussion sticky posts getting too crowded...?
I'd been thinking that the list of sticky posts (and Thanksgiving was a long time ago now too...) at the top of the General discussion forum were getting kinda stale and over crowded when JMK posted that exact thought in the General D. forum - see: http://www.delica.ca/forum/is-it-time-f ... -3982.html His post seems to have been overlooked though as it's been there for awhile and is slipping down fast with very few views. Is there a use for a sticky topics only forum rather than crowding out the top half of the General D.? It is the most viewed forum and it really is getting rather choked up. Just a thought. Thanks Mark and all the moderators... :
Happy Day!

Good thought -- the "Sticky" feature (or "Announcements", "Global Announcements") are not intended to serve as permanent locations for these posts, but rather to draw attention to certain posts that might otherwise fall out of site too quickly.
I've "normalized" the posts in the General Discussion section...
Cheers!

Just on the same them, I've done a couple of other "tidy-up" changes, as follows:
1. The two "subforums" that were formerly in the General Discussion forum (Foreign Travel, and I can't remember the other one) are now gone -- posts are merged into the General Discussion section.
2. The "Delica Feedback Thread" is now in a subforum of its own:
