Another trip to Victoria on the weekend (where we only saw two other delis

- Martycultural and a light blue / white with a yellow kayak headed west across the Johnson St. bridge) and another stop on our way home at Express Trailer / V. I. Imports - This time for a roof rack. We had a hour or so wait so we saddled up the bikes and took dog on a ride down the road to see ccautos Glen. When we told him what we were up to he cautioned us that the roof-racks from there are often installed without rubber pads! After a short visit with Glen we headed back and arrived just in time to ask that rubber pads be part of the installation - Thanks Glen! The rack is GREAT, though once we started down the road the hollow, open ended tubes on the corners started HOWLING - Really freakin' LOUD!!!

Oh God! I stuffed some rags in them and we got home with our ears undamaged. I plan on filling these pan-flutes with expanding foam and will for sure call Express Trailer and suggest that they add caps - maybe I'll arrange having some retrofitted on a pass through on a Victoria trip. A really great addition to Hazel though and makes work (and caving -
IF I ever get back out there

) that much more pleasant - Looks Bitchin' too!!
