Anyone have a spare spare?

Hey folks, My family and I just took the long trip across the prairies into BC.. To amke along story short, I took removed the spare, because while I'm here i am installing a WVO system, and needed the room for a tank.. I wanted to mount the spare on the front bushbar, but didn't have time.. My tires only had 4000 kms and I have a patch kit, but of course, a tire blew on the highway.. irrepairable... This situation sucked with three kids and wife in the middle of Alberta.... I managed to match up the tire and got back on the road without wasting too much time, but for our trip home, I am not trusting the other tires.... I would love to find a spare while here, and mount it on the front, so I don't feel like such a fool on the way home if the same situation happens....

Are Spector Advanta A/T tires not trustworthy.. I've never heard of the brand and they came with my Delica... Now I'm a bit paranoid with them.....

I'll be around the islands for almost a month.
