Air Filter Replacement Part Number

Post by philmeup1 »

Hello all,

Haven't been on here in a while and playing catch up. I want to change my air filter on my '93 Super Exceed L300, but Can't find the part number anywhere. I'm hoping to get something at Part Source or Crappy Tire.

Anyone have a part number for this?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Phil

Ensure u undo n drop metal bowl exactly in same spot to remount it. Saves fiddling about to refit ... has a metal notch that must fit in place. I drive my drivers side tires up on a curb then lie down on curb under to fit.
Cheers Christine.

Air Filter Replacement Part Number

Hi Phil,

I've been ordering filters from these guys in Toronto:

http://rightdriveparts.com/mitsubishi/l ... ica-parts/

They have filters individually and also a tune-up package of air, fuel,&oil filter. Turn around is quick
and quality is good. Prices are as good as or better than anywhere else on the interweb. I usually order a few of each at a time to save on shipping...

BTW, when was the last time you changed your air filter? I swap mine every second oil change...

Air Filter Replacement Part Number

Post by philmeup1 »

Thanks for the info guys. I ended up getting a Fram oil and air filter. The oil filter was $50 bucks at Crappy Tire!!! I almost puked when I saw the bill. Both filters came to nearly $100 bucks, and then there's the oil on top of that!!!

Anyway, I change my air filters about every other oil change. I've tried to buy parts from RightDrive, but the parts never come. I've tried ordering many things over the past few years. I put the order in, and then never hear back. I went there once for service, and it was great. So I'm not sure where the disconnect is. I've had great success ordering from Steven at Rising Sun, but he's in BC and I'm in Ontario. I usually order a bunch od stuff if I'm ordering from him.

The oil has been changed, and I'm now good to go....... nowhere until things change, lol

Thanks again folks,

Phil

That’s strange. I’ve always had excellent service.

Anyway, get in it and go for a drive in the countryside. 😁

Air Filter Replacement Part Number

Since, like most Deli owners, I knew I would have mine for a very long time I opted for a K&N E4810 Air filter. OK It was over $200, but when you are replacing them all the time it makes more sense. Also better performance when I opened up the exhaust.

I also get my oil filters from Les Hall in No. Van Baldwin BD28's @ $35ea - usually buy 4-6 at a time.
