I did it! 1998 L300

Post by Snakes »

Recently took the plunge on a 1998 "Active World" edition. From what I understand, this is one of the latest L300 editions available. I've wanted a Delica for a long time, so happy to finally be an owner!

The plan is to make it into a camper that is fairly easy to convert as needed. I'm hoping to build the bed in a way so that I don't need to remove the middle row of seats. I've seen some designs that are able to pull this off fairly well and still keep a decent amount of room for storage.

I'm looking forward to hitting some more remote B.C. lakes this Spring that my hatchback couldn't get me to!

Cheers,
Bryan

Very nice, and welcome to the fold. I have a 1993 L300 that I've owned for almost 7 years now. It's been the best used vehicle I've ever owned. I thought '93 was the last year for the L300, but I think it remained in production until 2001, or something like that. I know the L400 was introduced in '04.

Anyway, enjoy your new ride:)

Hi Snakes Bryan,
Congrats on getting the L300!! I also live in Burnaby, I can show you my camperised TardisDeli (typical homemade layout), and answer lotsa questions. I haven't been active with the Delica gang for a few years due to working too much. Send me a PM Private Message.
Cheers, Christine.
